Committed to prayer

OM International | Sri Lanka

With Logos Hope facing a series of urgent needs, the ship’s community and its partners around the world dedicated themselves to a week of fasting and prayer. The most pressing concern is for a chief engineer to join the ship by the middle of August. Other long term senior engineers are required, as are welders and other mechanically skilled people. There is also a need for finances to be provided for the Power Up Logos Hope Project. Crewmembers found fasting to be a blessing as it gave them more time to pray. Every lunchtime, they would gather for an hour in the staff lounge to pray. “I heard God speaking to me that week. I think I was more sensitive to God’s voice,” said Wai Wa Wu (Hong Kong).
