Young and excited

OM International | Malaysia

Logos Hope has hosted Brand New Me, her first ever youth camp. Thirty-eight teenagers from all over peninsula Malaysia came to the ship for three days of training, work experience and worship, based around the theme of having a brand new identity in Christ. Although they slept on shore, they would be on the ship each day to hear each other’s stories and to work in different departments on the ship such as the book fair, engine room, deck department, galley (kitchen) and as cleaners. The youngsters divided into groups, with each group assigned a ‘coach’ from among the ship’s crew. Rex Quiño (Philippines), who coached a group of four youngsters, said: “I enjoyed working with the young people very much. I could see they are passionate for God.”
