Peace from God

OM International | Pakistan

In September, 17 participants graduated from OM's training programme where they received training on Bible teaching and were given opportunities to learn about serving others and sharing their faith. Participant Nasir* shared his experience:

I learned about discipleship, missions, spiritual growth and sharing my faith through the training. I experienced how to lead a team, and found that leading my teammates was not an easy thing.

One day, I went to a shop where I introduced Christian books. The shopkeeper asked me, “Are you Christian?” When I said yes, he got angry and started yelling at me, saying, “Get out of here. I don’t want to fight with another countryman.”

I didn’t have any fear when he was treating me harshly because of God’s courage and calmness. I continued my book selling and sold books to many others that day.

I will never forget these experiences. God gave me power and courage to share the gospel on roads, in bazaars, hospitals and in graveyards. All credit goes to God Almighty. He gave me the chance to learn about His Word and to have practical experience to share the Good News.
